Manfredi Manara collections are composed of pieces featuring classic shapes that focus on slenderness and femininity, most of which are embellished with custom-made intricate fabric trims known as “passamanerie”. These fine details give each shoe a patina of nostalgic romanticism and perfectly complement the rich velvets and supple satin fabrics often used.

Born in 1990 to Italian father and Argentine mother in Monaco and raised between Milan and London, Manfredi Conti Manara launches his eponymous women’s shoe line with the spring summer 2017 collection.

After graduating from the renowned London College of Fashion, Manfredi worked in London, New York and Paris before embarking on his own journey in women’s fashion, offering a poised and delicate vision of the most revered of accessories; the high heel shoe.

A lengthy and meticulous search for suppliers able to produce the highest quality shoes eventually led to a family-run atelier on the outskirts of Milan in Parabiago, a location where for decades some of the industry’s most skilled artisans have been making luxury footwear for the finest names in fashion.

The first collection was immediately selected to take part in Artisanal Intelligence; a showcase of designers whose production supports traditional Italian craftsmanship, curated by Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessio De Navasques as part of Altaroma July 2016. Manfredi Manara has been invited by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to present the 2018 summer collection at Fashion Hub Market, which supports emerging designers during Milan Fashion Week.

Today Manfredi lives and works in Milan and has began collaborating with other Italian shoe brands as well as focusing on his own collection.
